Politap Performs Qurbani: Caring and Sharing on Eid al-Adha 1446 H

Ketapang, 7 June 2025 – In the spirit of sharing and caring for others, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a qurbani animal sacrifice event in commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri. The event, themed “Politap Berqurban: Caring and Sharing”, took place on Saturday morning, 7 June 2025, starting at 06.00 WIB on campus.

As a demonstration of social commitment and collective worship, Politap slaughtered two cows from the joint qurbani savings of Politap staff and three goats, consisting of two goats from an Islamic banking partner (Bank Syariah Indonesia) and one goat from a Politap staff member.

The qurbani meat was distributed evenly to campus staff, local residents, and members of the community in need, with the hope of bringing happiness and blessings to all parties.

May Allah SWT accept the deeds and worship of all donors, grant an abundance of blessings, and provide ease so that everyone can continue performing qurbani every year. Ameen ya Rabbal ‘Alamin. (finn)
