Politap Promotes Village Literacy

The Director of Politap, accompanied by the Head of the Center for Learning Development and Education Quality Assurance, the Head of the Cooperation Working Group, and cooperation staff, conducted a working visit to the Ketapang Regency Regional Public Library Office on Tuesday, 2 February 2021, where they were welcomed by the office secretary, Mr. Yani.

This working visit aimed to establish collaboration regarding the role of village literacy in developing the "Politap Membangun Vokasi Dari Desa" initiative. During the visit, information was shared regarding the role and function of the regional library, including its development plans. Meanwhile, the Director of Politap and his team shared Politap's plans to boost village literacy. The institution is preparing to establish a digital library managed through an e-library system in partnership with a prominent national publisher. The Secretary of the Ketapang Regional Public Library Office warmly welcomed the planned collaboration between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and the regional public library to develop village libraries.
