Politap Strengthens Assessor Competence

On Monday, 6 June 2022, the opening of the Competency Assessment Material (MUK) Development Workshop was held in the Directorate Building Hall of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, POLITAP). This event  was organized  by the First-Party Professional Certification Agency (LSP-P1) of POLITAP. The workshop was attended by 29 participants who are assessors of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, featuring Dr. Ir. Nes Yandri Kahar, MS.,IPU from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) as the resource person. The activity will run for 4 days, from 6 to 9 June 2022.

Director of POLITAP, Endang Kusmana, in his opening remarks expressed full support for this workshop. According to him, the Competency Assessment Material (MUK) Development Workshop is an essential activity to enhance assessors' abilities in developing quality Competency Assessment Materials (MUK). Endang added that the assessors' competence is vital to improving the quality of graduates in accordance with the hard skills demanded by industry, noting that POLITAP also continuously develops soft skills for all its graduates.

Meanwhile, Budi Sibuea, Head of LSP Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, stated that the purpose of organizing this event is tied to LSP-P1 POLITAP's efforts to improve the quality and capability of competency assessors, specifically in preparing professional certification tools aligned with the latest applicable regulations from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), as well as preparing for re-licensing and conducting competency tests.
