POLITAP Student Named Best GenRe Ambassador of Ketapang Regency 2026

Ketapang, 28 June 2026 – A proud achievement was once again accomplished by a student of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, POLITAP). Sukardi Hermawan, a student of the Information Technology Study Program, successfully won 1st Place as the Ketapang Regency Generasi Berencana (GenRe) Ambassador 2026.

The GenRe Ambassador is an event organized to select young individuals capable of serving as role models and agents of change in educating adolescents about life planning, reproductive health, early marriage prevention, drug abuse prevention, and the importance of preparing for the future through education, self-development, and career planning. GenRe Ambassadors also play an active role in disseminating information and positive campaigns to fellow youth in schools, campuses, and communities.

Sukardi Hermawan's success in achieving 1st place demonstrates that POLITAP students not only excel academically, but also possess leadership, communication skills, and concern for social issues faced by the younger generation.
