Politap Students Win Awards at Wirausaha Merdeka Program

Batam, 14 November 2022. A total of 23 students accompanied by 4 Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL) from Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) took part in the 2022 Wirausaha Merdeka festival at Politeknik Negeri Batam held on 14 November 2022. The Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK) Program is part of the MBKM program aimed at providing students with opportunities to learn and develop into prospective entrepreneurs through activities outside the classroom.

The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, who attended the Student Entrepreneurship Festival, stated that the MBKM program for the Wirausaha Merdeka program must be joined by all study programs, so flexibility is expected in curriculum implementation, especially for existing curricula that have not yet been revised.

At this Wirausaha Merdeka festival at Politeknik Negeri Batam, Politap received 2 (two) awards in two categories: the manufacturing cluster won by a group of electrical engineering study program students, and the agribusiness cluster for the Agroindustry Study Program.
