Politap Supports Sustainable Natural Resource Management

KETAPANG – Wednesday (20/07/2022). Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) attended a Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue organized by the Joint Secretariat (Sekber). The Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on “Strengthening the Multi-Stakeholder Joint Secretariat in Sustainable Natural Resource Management in Ketapang Regency” was held on 19–20 July 2022 at Grand Zuri Hotel Ketapang.

The meeting was attended by the Sustainable Natural Resource Management Joint Secretariat of Ketapang Regency as well as development partner institutions in Ketapang; Politeknik Negeri Ketapang delegated Partnership division representatives AmandaTiara Rezki and Dimas Gilang Gumelar.

Amanda, who attended this event, stated that the presence of the Sustainable Natural Resource Management Joint Secretariat in Ketapang Regency as a multi-stakeholder collaboration platform should ideally grow and run effectively through the strong involvement of various actors.  She added that the multi-stakeholder forum is also expected to support the development process in designing and implementing programs and activities that have been and will be formulated by the local government.

This discussion forum is expected to accommodate inputs and suggestions from various stakeholders to support the activities and objectives of the joint secretariat (Sekber). The forum resulted in the formulation of strategic issues that will serve as the work program and action plan of Sekber. This multi-stakeholder involvement is increasingly needed to drive stronger collaboration in sustainable development implementation strategies in a bottom up, participatory, and inclusive manner.
