KETAPANG – Monday (29/08/2022). The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) conducted a working visit to SMKN 1 Ketapang as part of a collaborative synergy plan between vocational education levels in Ketapang Regency. The meeting between Politap and SMKN 1 Ketapang aimed to provide mentoring in meeting national education standards, provide access to link and match with the business and industrial world (DUDI), provide training for teachers, school principals, and school supervisors, as well as support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
Endang Kusmana, Director of Politap, stated that his institution is ready to strengthen SMKN 1 Ketapang to enhance its role in producing graduates who are absorbed into the workforce or become entrepreneurs through deep and comprehensive vocational education alignment with the world of work. His institution is also ready to strengthen learning at SMKN 1 Ketapang through the implementation of Project Based Learning.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMKN 1 Ketapang welcomed Politap's commitment to help improve the quality of vocational high schools in Ketapang. The school encouraged increased access to industry for vocational education to enhance the link and match. (Finan Su)
