Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) will hold the 2018 Politap Industrial Seminar on Wednesday, 26 September 2018 at the Ketapang Regency Regent's Hall.
The Organizing Committee Chairperson for the 2018 Politap Industrial Seminar, Normansyah, revealed that the theme adopted for the seminar is “Synergy of Vocational Education, Local Government, and Industry in Building Quality Human Resource Competencies for National Competitiveness”.
“The 2018 Politap Industrial Seminar, organized in collaboration with the Ketapang Regency Regional Government, aims to serve as a scientific forum for vocational higher education institutions and practitioners to enhance human resource competencies relevant to facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era,” he stated.
Participants in the 2018 Politap Industrial Seminar will come from several state polytechnics across Indonesia and industry players in Ketapang Regency. Also present as a speaker will be the Director General of Science, Technology, and Higher Education Institutional Affairs, Dr. Ir. Patdono Suwignjo, M.Eng.Sc.
During this event, an MoU signing will also take place between Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and PT. Ketapang Ecology and Agriculture Forestry Industrial Park, as well as with several plantation and mining companies investing in Ketapang Regency.
“Our hope is naturally that through this Industrial Seminar, we can broaden insights to produce the best human resources with superior competencies to face industrial advancements,” he concluded. (ABS)
