Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) continues to move forward in implementing integrated Information Technology-based services, as reflected in the launch of the Politap Integrated Management Information System (SimaduPolitap). Director of Politap Endang Kusmana, who led the event, stated that the launch of SimaduPolitap is part of Bureaucratic Reform (Presidential vision 2019-2024), following up on the Circular Letter of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (SE Menpan-RB) Number 382/2019 on strategic and concrete steps for bureaucratic simplification, the Director's priority programs, and steps toward establishing a Data Center.
The Director added that SimaduPolitap will be implemented in phases covering academic affairs, student affairs, research/community service (PKM), administration, finance, personnel, state assets (BMN), and public services. According to him, the Academic Information System was implemented in 2019, providing convenience for students ranging from registration, learning, consultation, to grading via smartphones and other online facilities. SimaduPolitap is also part of empowering Politap's human resources because the system was developed by Politap staff, fostering pride and a sense of ownership toward the organization. The Director added that SimaduPolitap provides governance certainty because work processes become more measurable in both time and execution, while also reducing paper consumption.
Vice Director for Student Affairs and Information Systems Epriyandi added that SimaduPolitap, developed in 2019/2020, comprises several modules, namely:
- Sipsuke (Decree Information System): This system manages official correspondence submission services, allowing proposals for decrees, assignment letters, and other official documents to be processed online from anywhere.
- Simadi (Tuition Fee Management Information System): This system monitors Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), specifically tuition fees, serving as a medium for reconciliation between the receiving treasurer, the academic subdivision, and study programs.
- Sidul (Title Submission Information System): This system manages online services for Field Work Practice (PKL) and Final Project services, facilitating students in consulting online with the Department and lecturers from title registration or internship placement to the completion of activities.
- Simanra (Treasury Information System): This system manages fund disbursement proposal services, enabling work units with approved activities and budgets to propose fund disbursements via online services.
- Simanja (Performance Management Information System): This system manages employee performance reporting systems, including online BKD and online SKP for all staff within Politap by leveraging information technology, accessible from anywhere.
The Director of Politap added that with the Work From Home system, the use of information technology has become essential. Therefore, the institution will soon design the Employee Performance Information System (Sijape), Research Data Information System (Sitari), Scholarship Registration Information System (Sipebe), and Quality Assurance Information System (Sijamu), certainly by empowering internal personnel at Politap, he concluded.
