Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) received a visit from PT. Varietwelve (Tuesday, 8 September 2020), which is pioneering the construction of a mini palm oil mill in Ketapang. Mr. Ravshan, an investor from Uzbekistan accompanied by 3 (three) staff members, stated that his company is pioneering the construction of mini palm oil mills in several villages in Ketapang to eventually supply a planned Biodiesel Plant in Ketapang.
The Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang warmly welcomed this working visit and stated that Politap is always open to and supportive of all parties in boosting investment and development in Ketapang. Politap hopes that the company's plans will strengthen its program, "Building Vocational Education from Villages," so that the planned construction of mini palm oil mills in Ketapang is expected to empower rural communities in Ketapang while improving village welfare. The event continued with a visit to the agriculture laboratories and the Mechanical Engineering laboratory, giving the company an overview of Politap's potential.
