Senate Determines 3 Final Candidates from Director Screening

KETAPANG – Wednesday (19/10/2022). The Senate meeting determined 3 (three) prospective Director candidates following the screening stage of the 2022–2026 Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) Director Election. The senate meeting was held in two sessions: an open senate meeting featuring the presentation of visions and missions by the prospective Director candidates, attended by senate members, structural officials at Politap, representatives of lecturers, educational staff, and students.

The prospective candidates delivered their vision and mission in sequence: Rusadi, Encik Eko Ripkowaty, Irianto SP, and Rusdaniar. This was followed by a question-and-answer session between the attendees and the prospective candidates.

Later in the afternoon, a closed meeting was held to screen the prospective candidates through a vote by the 15 senate members in attendance, while 3 senate members were absent due to attending Ministry training. The vote results were  Rusadi (3 votes), Encik Eko Ripkowaty (2 votes), Irianto SP (3 votes), and Rusdaniar (7 votes), leading the senate to determine the 3 candidates entitled to advance to the next election stage: Rusdaniar, Rusadi, and Irianto SP.

Politap Director Endang Kusmana was pleased to witness the Politap Director election process running smoothly, allowing the screening phase to finish without any disruption. Endang hoped the upcoming stages would proceed just as successfully.
