Socialization on the Integrity Zone Towards Corruption-Free and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Areas

KETAPANG – Thursday (20/06/2024). Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) (Ketapang State Polytechnic, Politap) held a socialization on the Integrity Zone Towards Corruption-Free and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Areas (ZI WBK/ WBBM) featuring Kasni Rokhmawati from the Organization and Governance Bureau (Biro Ortala) as the speaker.

The socialization was held in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Directorate Building of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang and was attended by all staff within Politap as well as students.

The purpose of this socialization was to provide insight to staff and students regarding the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI) Towards Corruption-Free and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Areas (WBK/WBBM).

The Integrity Zone (ZI) is a designation granted to government agencies whose leadership and staff are committed to realizing WBK/WBBM through Bureaucratic Reform, particularly in preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.

ZI-WBK (Integrity Zone Corruption-Free Area) is a designation granted to a work unit that meets most criteria in change management, governance structuring, HR management system structuring, performance accountability strengthening, and supervision strengthening.

Developing the Integrity Zone is one of the government's efforts in implementing the Bureaucratic Reform program pursuant to Presidential Regulation Number 81 of 2010, in which bureaucratic reform targets three main outcomes: organizational capacity and accountability improvement, clean governance free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), and public service enhancement.

There are two components that government agencies must build in developing an integrity zone towards WBK/WBBM, namely the leverage component and the outcome component. Achieving the outcome component depends on the successful implementation of the leverage component. Thus, the leverage component is the determining factor in achieving the target outcomes of the Integrity Zone development towards WBK/WBBM, namely: a clean government free of KKN and an increase in the quality of public services to society.

Through this event, it is hoped that all elements at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang can work together in building an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang.
