Disposal and Destruction of State Property at Politap

KETAPANG – Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a meeting on the disposal and destruction of State Property (BMN) in the form of Intangible Assets (ATB) on Monday, 8 January 2024 in the Director's Meeting Room.

The meeting was attended by the Director, the Vice Directors, the Non-Academic Coordinator, and the BMN Management Team. Also present were the Senate Chair and the Secretary of the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) as witnesses in the ceremonial disposal and destruction of State Property (BMN) in the form of Intangible Assets (ATB).

Pursuant to Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 83/PMK.06/2016, write-off is the action of removing State Property (BMN) from the asset ledger by issuing a decree from an authorized official to relieve the Asset Manager, Asset User, or Proxy of Asset User from administrative and physical responsibility for the assets under their control.

The intangible assets written off and destroyed in this process partly consisted of CDs and files. The disposal of BMN was symbolically executed through the cutting of CDs by the Director of Politap, witnessed by the Senate Chair and the Secretary of the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI).

The function of State Property (BMN) disposal is to ensure accountability in asset governance. Therefore, BMN write-offs within Politap are conducted efficiently, effectively, and accountably.

Following the conclusion of the disposal and destruction, the signing of the Official Minutes of Disposal and Destruction of State Property (BMN) in the form of Intangible Assets (ATB) within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang was carried out by the Director, Vice Directors, and witnesses. (Finn/Humas)
