Informatics Students Express Yudisium Gratitude Through Charity Activity

Students of the Department of Informatics Engineering at Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) carried out a charity activity at the Al-Akbar Orphanage Foundation located in Kalinilam, Ketapang Regency on 13 October 2020. This activity coincided with the yudisium (graduation clearance) of the 3rd cohort of the DIII Informatics Engineering Study Program for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The Al-Akbar Orphanage Foundation accommodates 31 foster children, consisting of 28 boys and 3 girls.

Roni Bia Santo, a student and representative of the Department of Informatics Engineering, stated that this charity activity was an expression of gratitude to God Almighty and a way to share moments of joy with the children at the orphanage, as on the same day, 13 October 2020, it coincided with the yudisium of students from the Department of Informatics Engineering. The social assistance provided to the orphanage consisted of basic necessities and clothing.

Iswandi, representing the management of the Al-Akbar Orphanage Foundation, also expressed his gratitude and thanked the students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, particularly the students of the Department of Informatics Engineering who visited the orphanage, and hoped that more young people would undertake charitable initiatives like this.
