International Animal Rescue Ready to Collaborate on Information Technology Implementation with Politap

The Director of Politap received a visit from Mr. Wendi and staff from the International Animal Rescue (IAR) Foundation on Friday, 2 October 2020. Yayasan Inisiasi Alam Rehabilitasi (IAR) Indonesia, or better known as International Animal Rescue Indonesia, is an environmental non-profit organization (NGO) established in 2008. The IAR Indonesia Foundation continues to grow as an institution operating in the fields of wildlife welfare, protection, and conservation in Indonesia based on 3R and M efforts: Rescue, Rehabilitation, Release, and Monitoring.

The Director warmly welcomed the presence of the IAR team in preparation for a more focused collaboration. The Director expressed hope that future collaboration would involve empowering innovation outcomes from lecturers or students to synergize with the data and access possessed by IAR, yielding innovative products beneficial to the community.

Politap and IAR agreed to develop information technology services related to forest and land fire prevention detection, Ketapang regional commodity mapping, as well as wildlife protection and conservation.
