Politap Attends UTBK Center Coordination Meeting at Untan

The Vice Director for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Anto Susanto, attended the UTBK Center Coordination Meeting for the SNBT track held in the senate meeting room of the rectorate building of Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak on Thursday, 10 April 2025. This meeting was attended by the Central UTBK organizing committee, Field Persons in Charge, and several representatives from UTBK sub-centers, namely from Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) and Politeknik Negeri Sambas. In his direction, the head of the UTBK Center of Universitas Tanjungpura, Mr. Sirhan, finalized the readiness of facilities and infrastructure at the UTBK center and UTBK sub-centers to prepare for the UTBK implementation on 23 April – 3 May 2025. Sirhan also stated that this year there was a 16.22 percent increase in participants compared to last year.
Politeknik Negeri Ketapang through the Head of UPA TIK, Ar-Razy Muhammad, reported Politap's readiness to face the implementation of the 2025 UTBK SNBT. Politap will prepare four computer laboratory rooms that can accommodate 100 participants in 1 session, security units, room proctors, room technicians, and internet network readiness. This year, 917 participants will take part in the UTBK SNBT at the Politap UTBK Sub-Center.
Prior to the implementation of UTBK SNBT, Politap had conducted server trials, test application trials, and configuration of exam & backup PCs, as well as briefing for prospective exam proctors and Room Technicians prior to the upcoming test.
This year marks the fourth year Politap has been entrusted as a UTBK SNBT Sub-Center under Universitas Tanjungpura. This opportunity certainly provides convenience for prospective students who will take the new students admission test via the SNBT track, especially those coming from Ketapang Regency and North Kayong.
