Politap Holds Open Senate Meeting and Halal Bihalal for 17th Anniversary

Ketapang, 16 April 2025 — To commemorate its 17th Anniversary, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held an Open Senate Meeting coupled with a Halal Bihalal gathering with the entire academic community, staff, and students. The event took place solemnly and in a warm, familial atmosphere in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Main Building, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang campus.

This event served as an important milestone in the journey of the vocational institution, reflecting on achievements over its 17 years of establishment as well as its commitment to continue making tangible contributions to education and regional development.

In his address, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Irianto SP, S.ST., M.MA., expressed high appreciation to the entire academic community for their dedication, hard work, and synergy fostered over the years.

“An anniversary is not merely ceremonial, but a moment for us to reaffirm the commitment and direction of this institution. Seventeen years is proof that we have weathered many dynamics, and moving forward we must be even more prepared to face change. For 17 years, Politap has grown and developed into a competitive vocational education institution. This is the time for us to strengthen innovation, improve educational services, and reinforce relationships across the campus community,” said the Director before the invited guests.

The Open Senate Meeting was attended by the entire leadership team, lecturers, staff, student representatives, as well as invited guests from partner institutions and the local government. The event served as a strategic platform to present the campus performance report, conduct evaluations, and strengthen the vision and mission in facing future vocational education challenges.

Following the meeting proceedings, the program continued with the Halal Bihalal gathering to strengthen ties following the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. A warm, joyful, and familiar atmosphere was felt as staff, lecturers, and students shook hands and exchanged mutual forgiveness.

Through this moment, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang also reaffirmed the spirit of togetherness that serves as the foundation for building a strong and inclusive institution. This anniversary celebration serves as tangible proof that institutional progress is measured not only by academic aspects, but also by the harmony and solidarity of all its members.
