Politap Holds Webinar on Strategies for Securing Overseas Scholarships

Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) once again held a webinar themed Scholarship: Challenge and Opportunity. This webinar was series #6 of Vocational Education Strengthens Identity. The event featured speakers, namely Vienti Hadsari, Ph.D Candidate at the University of New South Wales Australia; Okkie Putriani, Doctoral Candidate at Universitas Gadjah Mada; and Iffandya Popy Wulandari, Ph.D Student at National Central University (NCU) Taiwan.

This series #6 webinar was opened by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang Kusmana. In his opening remarks, the Director conveyed the institution's commitment to enhancing the quality of human resources through both degree and non-degree education. Improving the quality of lecturers and administrative staff is expected to continuously develop in order to support partnerships with industry.

Endang added that a wise investment today is investing in human resources, because Ketapang's position, which is surrounded by various industries, can be utilized for collaboration, meaning investment in infrastructure and facilities can be optimized if the college collaborates with industry. Therefore, the utilization can be directed toward human resource investment. The speakers received appreciation from participants as the session provided shared experiences on securing scholarships from various scholarship sources.
