The Department of Agricultural Product Management (PHP), specifically the Plantation Product Processing Technology (TPHP) Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), held a webinar on 28 July 2020 themed "Implementation of Kampus Merdeka in Building an Independent Entrepreneurial Spirit Facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0." This webinar was Series 7 of the Politeknik Negeri Ketapang webinars. The number of registered participants reached 719. The webinar was officially opened by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, Endang kusmana. In his opening remarks, the Director expressed hope that entrepreneurship would become one of the competencies possessed by Politap graduates, particularly to provide opportunities for graduates who are not interested in working in the industry.
Head of Department of Plantation Product Management (PHP) Ningrum Dwi Hastuti stated that the purpose of this webinar was to introduce and motivate students of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang, especially from the Department of Plantation Product Management (PHP), to understand the world of entrepreneurship by daring to seize opportunities and create businesses originating from creative ideas with soft skills beyond theoretical skills in their respective fields of study.
This webinar featured two speakers: Ir.Mukhlis Bharainy, who is the CEO of Pachira Group, and Ardianus Laurens Paulus , S.E.,M.sc., a lecturer from Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS). Both resource persons presented comprehensive material in the fields of entrepreneurship, knowledge and innovation management, and strategic management.
