Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) once again held Phase II of the Teaching Material Training for lecturers within Politeknik Negeri Ketapang on the topic of Converting Scientific Papers into Books, held on 16 July 2020 featuring speaker Dr. Hj. Rani Siti Fitriani, S.S, M.Hum, Director of Semiotika Publishing and member of West Java IKAPI. In his opening remarks, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang expressed his appreciation for the output of the Phase I activity, which yielded 12 ISBN-registered books, and expressed hope that Phase II would achieve similar results.
Head of the Center for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (P4MP), Sy.Indra Septiansyah,S.Si, M.T, stated that 12 books had officially been issued ISBNs as the output of the Phase I activity, namely:

- Betti Ses Eka Polonia, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Ahmad Ravi, M. Pd (Introduction to Basic Natural Sciences)
- Normansyah, S.T, M. T (Maintenance and Repair Management)
- Sarwendah Ratnawati and Hermanto, S.Pd., M.Sc (Food Chemistry)
- Encik Eko Rifkowaty, S.TP., M.P (Palm Oil Quality Testing Techniques)
- Saima Putri R Harahap, S.Pd., M.Pd (Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods)
- Syarifah Aqla, S. Pd.,M.Pd and Herman, S.Si., M.T (Soil Mechanics)

He hoped that in the near future, 35 more books currently being prepared by lecturers would follow, bringing the total expected number to 47 books with ISBNs.
