Politap Working Visit to PT HKI Sampoerna Group Strengthens Marriage between Vocational Education and Industry

On Monday, 20 July 2020, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic), accompanied by the Head of Cooperation and International Relations Martanto, conducted a working visit to PT. Hutan Ketapang Industri (HKI), which is part of PT. Sampoerna Group. During the working visit, the Director was received by Mr. Suhadi Tholib (Community and Social Manager) of PT. HKI. During this visit, Politap and HKI agreed to elevate the cooperation that has existed through internship programs into a more focused and structured partnership.

During this working visit, Endang stated that Politeknik Negeri Ketapang will always listen and implement various ideas to improve the quality of human resources in Ketapang and contribute to enhancing company productivity. Meanwhile, PT. Hutan Ketapang Industri hopes to follow up on the plans discussed through a subsequent meeting to be held in the near future.

It was stated that the marriage program between polytechnics and industry is expected to be realized through mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of improving the quality of human resources in Ketapang to drive company productivity and innovation, especially by leveraging the potential of both Politap and the company.
