The Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) of Politeknik Negeri Ketapang (Ketapang State Polytechnic) held a socialization on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the campus environment, specifically for new students, on Tuesday (29/08/2023). This socialization was part of the series of activities for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB). This activity aimed to provide education and preventive efforts for new students to anticipate sexual violence in the campus environment and to support the ministry's program as a collective effort to eradicate sexual violence in higher education institutions.

The socialization was attended by Marisa Nopriyanti as Head of the Politap PPKS Task Force and Lecturer in Electrical Technology, and Ivan Suwanda as a member of the Task Force. In his presentation, Ivan stated that this socialization was carried out not only to comply with the mandate of laws and ministerial regulations, but also as a form of the campus's commitment to combat sexual violence. Ivan hoped that the presence of the PPKS Task Force in the Politap campus environment would empower students to speak up more boldly. Ivan and Marisa are committed to providing assistance and protection to victims.
In his material, Ivan also showed several visual materials such as videos and short films illustrating sexual crime and violence in the campus environment. This was done not only to hone their ability to empathize, but also to teach students to be more vigilant.

This activity concluded with the signing of an Integrity Pact together with all new students as a commitment by Politap and the leadership to fight sexual crimes in the campus environment.
